Dear Jane: I'm Worried About Getting Laid Off

Dear JaneDear Jane,

My firm just let some attorneys go.  Rumors are flying and anxiety is high. What should I be doing?

Signed,

Laying Low

Dear Laying Low,

Many law firms are making tough decisions.  The best thing you can do is to do high-quality work and bill the hours that you have sitting on your desk.  Take a renewed look at your non-billable hours and ensure that you and the firm are getting a high return on investment on those hours.  Being productive is a great outlet for your time and energy.  You go, girl!
