Dear Jane: On the Importance of Feedback

by 352admin 28. February 2013 13:40

Dear Jane,

I just finished my first assignment for a partner with whom I never worked. I think it went well.

Signed,

Dear Glad to Have that Over With,

Ask for feedback from the partner.  Find out specifically what you did well and where you have areas that need improvement.  Ask questions so you understand both sides to the feedback.  Keep doing the things that went well and figure out how to address the other areas.  Don’t wait for the formal evaluation process to find out from the partner how you did. You go girl!
